Put painting clothes on

Putting on your creative cape feels magical. There is a sense of wonder, trust, hypnotism. Going to a place where art pours from you makes time disappear; it evaporates anxiety.  You are a vessel, in flow. For many creatives, the expectation to make a penny from your work can feel like a lot of pressure. It can take the magic away if you aren’t careful. Most creatives I know, are not financially inclined. Money, as a concept often doesn’t come easy to us, and it adds a dimension to being an artist that can cause so much discomfort, that artists stop making work. Which is a crying shame.
